Overall my experience of attending Soul Mechanic therapy sessions with Ms Devi who was my therapist was amazing & life changing. I’ve been in and out of therapy for years with different therapists and had almost given up hope that anything would work for me. But Soul Mechanics and especially Ms. Shaundatrya has been a completely different experience.

In just four sessions she’s been able to reach places in me that took years to even surface elsewhere. The centre itself is also amazing. The admin team is super efficient, appointments and payments are smooth, and they’re responsive and supportive. I do my sessions online (which works perfectly for me), but they also have in-person options available if you prefer.

Ever since I came to KL, one thing I wanted was therapy as I had a very eventful past. Such an eventful past gave me baggage. Lots of it, going into adulthood. My sister recommended this place as she had been to the centre in PJ a couple of times.

A couple of years at this counselling centre has given me deep insights into my past and given me wonderful tools that help with my current and future self. The efficacy and warm presence of Soul Mechanics has driven me to greater heights I couldn't imagine.

And although I went through a lot of counselling sessions (due to my long-term patronage), I can safely say that all of the therapists I've had had unique insights of their own on how to help a person on top of the training they have. I ended up with Ms Devi given I still needed help. Her qualifications as a psychologist has definitely helped me.

All because I asked for help. And they gave me it.

I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to give this therapy centre a chance. Because you too should be a given a chance. Give yourself the help you need. Your future self will thank you for it as I have for myself.

My partner and I signed up for the couples therapy package, and honestly, it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. There’s a common misconception that going to therapy means something is “wrong” in the relationship—but in reality, it’s quite the opposite. Therapy has helped us understand each other more deeply and communicate more effectively.

Both our couple and individual sessions were led by Ms Devi, and I cannot recommend her enough. She’s incredibly skilled at creating a safe, comfortable space where we felt free to open up. More importantly, she has an incredible ability to pinpoint the root causes of our conflicts and help us understand the underlying behaviours and patterns that trigger them.

As human beings, we’re often aware of our negative actions, but we dont always understand why we do them. Ms Devi helped us understand those “whys,” which has been crucial in helping us grow as individuals and as a couple. Every session has made us understand ourselves better and stronger understanding of each other.
