PPAJ Muar di lokasi baharu. Ruangan kecil tetapi amat selesa dengan pendingin hawa dan Wi-Fi. Banyak koleksi novel BM baharu berbanding BI (koleksi di bangunan lama tidak dipindahkan ke sini). Tempoh pinjaman 2 minggu. Waktu operasi terhad 10am-2pm waktu PKPP.

Selesa, bersih, aircond pun ngam sejuknya cuma buku tak banyak genre dan ruang tak berapa besar sangat kalau nak banding dgn bangunan lama dulu.

It's like Mini Library.
Dari segi facilities, okay lah.. Ada Wi-Fi, aircond etc
Dari segi buku pula, tak terlalu banyak genre dan mostly outdated.

Untuk yang nak lepak 'release stress', buat assignment dengan tenang tanpa gangguan yes recommended.

Was there last week coz I need to work on Thursday, 20th April, 2 days before Raya due to some urgent matters. My parent’s house doesn’t have wifi & the internet connection there was pretty nonexistent, can’t even use my hotspot to connect with my laptop. Luckily this place exist.

It was supposed to be operating from 9am - 4pm on Thursday, I arrived around 8.45am & it’s already opened. But my relief was cut short coz the person in charge told me to leave at 12pm coz she wanna make Raya preparations.

That’s quite unprofessional & the employee shouldn’t leave whenever they want. I ended up working until 5pm at some praying area that a restaurant on 2nd floor provided for their customers. It’s scorching hot & there’s no fan, aircond or even wifi. I was drenched in sweat, my laptop & phone ended up overheated.

That’s the only issue.

The library is huge, comfy, have tons of books. During my time there, some parents came with their kids to read at the kids sitting area, & an uncle returned his borrowed book.

Would definitely come again if I had to.

Its an old library with lack of maintenance clearly can be seen by the dusty collection of books at the rack. Ventilation is by ceiling fan, and there is a kid section downstairs. But because of lack of people using this facilities, its on the decline ever since. It used to be a great place to study, I remember studying for my SPM here. The table and chair provided are very comfortable, but I suggest you bring your own book as a lot of books there were outdated. Hopefully, the government can provide a funding for the purchase of new books, WIFI system, Computer Sections and air conditioner as the building, although it was old, it still can be improved and hopefully, there will be an effort to bring back this once a perfect place to study and read.
