Vi tog Cameron adventure som kostade 60 RM, 30 RM tillkommer vid mossy Forrest och 15 vid butterfly garden.

Vi blev klara vid 14 tiden och hade en trevlig upplevelse. Höjdpunkten var BOH teaplantation och att få lukta på olika blad på väg upp till mossy forrest.

Min känsla är att ens upplevelse beror på vilken guide man får.

If they tell you the Mossy Forest is open, it is not (as of Jan 10). All tours are being rerouted to Coral Hill. We don’t know if this was better or worse than mossy but it was a forest and it had moss…

The tour is ok. Our guide was friendly, informative and local to the area. He switched the order of things to beat the crowds which was appreciated. The strawberry farm had barely a strawberry growing and is basically loads of pots with leaves in. The bee farm had a few bees around one or two small hives covered in plastic. Riveting.

BOH tea plantation was good, all the tourists here. Factory is 100 years old, brief but satisfying old world machinery. Views are great. Walked along a pathway into the plantation and watched tea pickers at work. A giant millipede wandered beside us.

The highlight was coral hill. Around an hour walk through the forest over branches and under trunks, a bit muddy, pretty easy but with some challenging ups and downs. The ‘peak’ had good views and a Malaysian flag. As with the highlands in general though, the entire landscape has been altered mechanically so you have razed sections, roads, hotels and high rises, Polly tunnels… and the beauty of the tea plantations.

As others have said, there isn’t a lot to see so they pad it out. Go if you’re here a while and have nothing else to do. Apparently weekends are to be avoided as Malaysians holiday here for short breaks to escape the heat. Mid Jan to mid Feb particularly bonkers. We didn’t get crowds or traffic to any major degree.

Vi havde den bedste oplevelse!!! Virkelig sød guide, som tog os med hen til alle de fantastiske steder i en sej jeep. Alt levede helt sikkert op til vores forventninger og jeg kan ikke anbefale dette sted nok!

Creo que fuimos TIMADOS. Vimos el punto de información mientras paseábamos por el centro del pueblo. Escogimos la excursión de día entero (no lo hagáis es una perdida de tiempo). Nos vinieron a recoger donde estábamos hospedados. Fuimos a recoger a la demás gente del tour y nos dirigimos primero a una plantación de té en la que había que pagar por entrar. Después fuimos a un sitio de recoger tus propias fresas, sin más, las fresas buenas eso sí. Luego fuimos a la granja de abejas. Y aquí viene lo del timo, supuestamente ibamos al monte brinchang y luego a mossy forrest, pues el guia dijo noseque de que teniamos que pagarle a él el "fee" de 10RM por persona para subir al monte, lo cual como nadie del grupo dijo nada no me pareció raro en el momento. Después fuimos subiendo y a parte de que no llegamos en ningún momento a la cima del monte brinchang (tal como ponía en el folleto) no vi en ningún momento que pagara para subir ni que hubiera ningún cartel de que había que pagar ningun "fee". Luego mirando por internet tampoco he visto que apareciera nada, así que creo que el tipo nos cobró su propina. Al llegar al mossy forrest estaba cerrado, lo cual le sorprendió y no sabia (supuestamente) pero vamos, que si eres guia turistico y trabajas para un centro de turismo, lo lógico es que sepas estas cosas tú o tu empresa, por lo que entiendo que nos volvieron a engañar al contratar la excursión, por que de haberlo sabido no la hubiéramos contratado. Despues nos llevó a un par de sitios más, un mercado que no tenia gracia ninguna, una tienda de cactus (ok vengo a malasia para ver lo que podria ver en el jardiland de mi pueblo) a una granja de mariposas a la cual no entró nadie y a un templo budista. Mi consejo, no contratéis con esta empresa y hacedlo por libre.

I suggest taking the 50RM Half Day Tour because these are the only good activities. All other things like Butterfly|Bee|Strawberry|Cactus|Market|Time Tunnel are tourists traps, I wouldn’t waist my time with those activities.

The Time Tunnel museum would be nice but they have a cage with poor bunnies that don’t look good so I wouldn’t support them as well.

The only remaining good thing is the Sam Poh Temple, in my opinion very nice but you can visit it on your own.

The Mossy Forest is 30RM extra, it’s a short 10 minutes walk, in my opinion it’s worth it. Just take your time, climb the stairs of the tower and enjoy the landscape.

We took a half day tour with Mr Ravi as the tour guide. It one of the amazing tours we had and there were only just a total of 4 ppl on the tour in the Jeep. Ravi is a careful driver and we went to Mossy Forest, BOH plantation and Strawberry Farm. He has also been explaining to us all the different plants and different usages during our Mossy Forest trip. He is patient and attentive to your needs, I highly recommend his services.

We did our half-day tour from BOH Tea Plantation, Mossy Forest, Mount Brichang, and Strawberry Farm with Cameron Holiday Tour and Travel. Our guide, Mr. Safwan, was nice and provided lots of people information about the places that we visited. He even introduced us to some of the rare plants and herbs at Mossy Forest. We will come back to Cameron Highlands someday and do another tour with this company.

The guide is so nice and kind! He explains the rare plants and valuable leaves in the mossy forest. He always waits us in the forest within the distance so everyone will keep safe! The atmosphere in the car is also happy and harmonious! He always plays good music along the roads! And he would arrange the trip you want if you demands! Highly recommend!
