Amazing gem of a place if you’re lucky to score a booking - waiting list can be months. They have a set menu which is changed regularly. Food is amazing, from organic sources while 70% of the vegetables are from the farm itself. Servings are generous, you can top up for seconds if you like. Atmosphere is great, surrounded by a farm in the hills. Kudos to Pete and his team for a wonderful experience!

I have been attracted by this place for some time. Came to visit for their Christmas lunch. We were worried all the seats sold out too fast and therefore we decided fast and secured our seats by November 2024. Full payment is required to secure our seats. Other expenses such as corkage fee can be paid on the actual day.

This place is not too far away from Batu Caves. We departed from Batu Caves at around 9.30am. Had a short break at Pineyard before heading up to A Little Farm On The Hill.

Not many clear road signage leading us up to the venue. I remember I only saw a sign of an organic farm.

We had our car parked adjacent to the venue, walked up a little with some steep road. There's 2 entrances to the venue. One by staircase, another by flat surface which is accessible by wheelchair.

The entrance through staircase will pass by the venue's office and washrooms. The office uses glasshouse concept with all the walls installed with glasses. Beside the office (it's very lovely to see two pairs of farmer's boots arranged side by side, just outside the office. I sensed love from the boots), there's guest washrooms and hand-wash Station. Every corner of the venue is decorated with flowers in a vase. Be it in the washroom, the hand-wash station, the waiting area or at the dining table. Fresh flowers are everywhere.

I remember I saw some beautiful pink flowers planted near the washroom. Wanted to take a closer look at the flowers but my shoes doesn't allow to bring me over because the ground surface is too muddy and slippery. Afraid I might fall. Somehow understand the usage of the farmer boots. 😊

Walking up the staircase, stood a beautiful and inviting waiting area with chairs and flowers. Every spot is "Instagramable". Stunning beautiful.

The usher get us seated immediately upon of our arrival. Served with bunga kantan welcome drink. Its a Refreshing and pretty drink in pink. I remember seeing kids requesting for refills for the welcome drink. Kids love it, adults definitely love it more.

Later, we are served with their spiced nuts with mixture of pine nuts, walnut, macadamia, cashew nuts, pistachio, and peanut. A little bit of spiciness, but too much of rosemary to me personally.

I'm a focaccia lover. Quite happy to be served with this bread along their festive platter with charred red pepper (my favourite), twelve leaves and herbs salad, green beans and preserved lemon, beetroot with plum and shiso dressing.

My main is replaced by leek and parmesan spring tart (very delicious tart) instead of roasted chicken and smoked beef (medium rare doneness) due to my vegetarian option to my meal.

My roasted potato also served separately from the original menu because the roasted potatos from the original menu contained animal fats.

Dessert is served along coffee and tea. Not a dessert lover but they served very delicious chocalate cream with hazelnut crips.

I prefer caffeine free beverage, not so much into the the coffee and tea. However, I had a sip of both the tea and coffee without milk and sugar. They served the coffee and tea in VERY GRAND way. Wasted if not giving a try. πŸ˜‚

We didn't manage to finish our food because the food portions are huge. I'm very surprised to be asked if we need any topups. Quoted from the owner" we aim to overfeed our diners". Wow.

Most of the diners headed to the farm for a walk. I didn't walk around. I stayed at my place, enjoying myself because my butt doesn't want to get up until everyone went home. Wanted to stay even longer if I can.

By the way, we brought our own champagne with additional corkage Charge at RM80. I wanted to highlight that I had a great time with my champagne. Nobody is rushing me by helping to pour my champagne. I had them at my preferred pace. Pouring myself for me and my lunch date.

Service crew has a supersonic speed at serving diners. Welldone and thank you.

Would love to come back again for other menus.

My girlfriend wanted to try Little Farm on the Hill for the food as well as to visit it as a possible place to hold our wedding reception, so we booked it for their lunch set on a Saturday.

On arrival, we were greeted by the staff who correctly guessed who we were and handed each of us a chilled lemongrass drink.

When we were seated, they offered to change the stools to chairs for her parents so that they could be more comfortable,

We were touched by their thoughtfulness!

We had to wait a while before they started serving the food, but boy was it worth it! The appetizers they served wsre sourdough bread with two dips that went so well we literally ate everything up till nothing was left

When the mains came, we were so in love with the beef which was so tender, the chicken breast was also perfectly cooked, juicy and nicely salted.

But what took us by surprise was when we had nearly finished the mains when the staff came round and asked us if we would like seconds for any of them, at no extra charge. You didn't need to ask us twice!

Such a lovely place, good ambience, great farm-to-table food and even better service than we could have hoped or imagined.

No regrets making the long trip to get here!

Will definitely be back! Loved the communal concept and outdoor seatings so much. The tables were decorated with lovely flowers. Lots of friendly dogs around too! The food was amazing and they were refillable. At the end of lunch session, the owner Pete will bring you on a farm tour where you can learn all there is about organic farming, super educational.

Hard to believe there is such a nice place for communal lunch. Unique experience where owner will come to each table and have a chat more than just the meal.

Meal and the greens are locally farm and fresh to be eaten.

You need to have advanced booking prior coming to the site or else the security guard will not grant you access through the gate.

Mostly importantly … be there on time as the meal will not start until the last person show up.

Worth for the money spent with friends and family
